Fun Facts:
Elbow patches had humble beginnings but are now associated with prestige and intelligence. Quite a leap but here's the story: University professors weren't always well paid and the first thing to wear out on a suit jacket is the elbow. Out of necessity, they patched them up. Over time, the look became stereotypical for university professors, so to wear elbow patches was a sign of having a super smart aesthetic.
Style Tips:
